Mission Statement

DeltaARTS provides imaginative arts education programs for the Arkansas Delta and surrounding communities.

PROGRAMS

DeltaARTS provides a variety creative programs for children and adults. Our plays, exhibits, art classes, and camps take place at our Arts Education Center in West Memphis and at schools, afterschool programs, preschools, and other community centers in Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi. At all program locations, you can count on programs led by quality educators who have a highly interactive and engaging teaching style. Scroll below to see what we have to offer.

CYT

Through our Crittenden Youth Theater program, we produce three plays per year. Our plays give students in grades K - 12 opportunities to perform and work backstage to bring a play to life. Past shows include Lion King, Junior, A Mid-Summer Night’s Dream, School House Rock, and Rainbow Fish.

The Respect Program

The Respect Program increases social-emotional learning and literacy skills in children and youth through teaching literature, creative writing, and providing visual arts projects. This program can be taken to schools, after-school programs, preschools, and other community organizations that serve children in grades Pre-K through sixth.

Wolf Trap Early Learning through the Arts

Our Wolf Trap School Residencies focus on creating tactile, literacy-focused interactive early childhood learning experiences through the performing arts.

DeltaARTS is the only Wolf Trap affiliate in the region. This program is led by certified Wolf Trap trainers who implement this national research-based arts program. The program is available for preschools and grades K – 2.
